dear all readers of if r o b i n ruled the world,

during this break, i have had a lot of time to think. with bringing in the new year rather than try & do new things to make my life better, i've decided to leave the old things in this year. with that being said, i have decided to take a break from "ruling the world" so to speak. it's not forever, just until i'm ready to come back. i hope you will understand & i would like to thank all my real readers who have supported me. well until next time. . . .

it's me again ! when they call i come running ! it's meeeeeeeeeeee. as housekeeping business here we goo,

it's the day after christmas & i hope everyone had a happy holiday ! from a world ruler herself, =).

i've been catching up with friends & keeping fresh curls. there's nothing i'd rather be doing. lazy days have bee the best !

during the break thus far we threw a WAY overdue birthday party. brownies, pizza, inglorious basterds, and card games later i got to spend time with a person i can now actually call "friend".

oh yeah tim aka timmy joined us too !

they whooped us in spades, but christian & i are coming back with a venganceeeee.

i also got to spend time with someone i knew was always a friend ! many reunions & it never gets old. . .
there's not a friendship quite like ours. many just don't understand it. but some things are beyond understanding.

days pass & christmas arrives. i think the best part about holidays is getting up with family in a busy kind of world.

he said : "cheese". idk what happened. lmbo.

there isn't much going on in the world ruling business. just enjoying some much needed rest and time to hear my own thoughts.

today's food for thought is something i realized during this break. it seems like young people [under 25] live by TOO many rules. do this, don't do that. thas phony, thas real. i just want to say this : as a young person with no one to answer to except GOD, DO YOU. now i'm not saying be disrespectful or do things you know are wrong. but i am saying that life it too short to examine everything under a microscope.

i personally don't want to look back at life & wonder why i didn't do thing because of unwritten rules that change as much as my curls.

soooo i'm sitting on my bed, enjoying my break & i was thinking i'd give some food for thought thas been on my mind for the last couple of days. . . .

at first i thought i'd keep it to myself at first, but i saw this pic on facebook that made me want to share my thoughts.

this food for thought is for a lot of girls i know, a lot i don't, & even me. raise your hand if you've ever put your all into a boy who in turn ended up giving you nothing but your heart back in more than a few pieces. . . .

raise your hand if you mutually ended a relationship with a boy who in turn made it his purpose to make it seem as if you were the worst, worrisome, needy person. . . .

or raise your hand if you simply went/dated/messed with a young man who you gave the benefit of the doubt & in actuality truly didn't deserve you for your million dollar worth. . . .

now while it's natural to be angry, sad, hurt, lonely, & every other feeling that comes along with it, i just would like to encourage you : though it is easier said than done, DON'T STRESS IT ! ! !

clearly easier said than done, but while we are stuck going crazy. . .what is he doing ? there are a million different reasons but of 5o% of the time he is NOT going crazy with you. . . . .

so why should you ? ? ? what i am trying to say is that if a young man cannot recognize your worth. . .you recognize it !

you can do that on your own. you don't need anyone to validate that. "we never recognize the worth of water until the well runs dry." sometimes we need to let the well run dry.

if he can recognize it great, if he doesn't that is his loss NOT yours. it hurts but there is someone who will. if it is not a dude in your life then i pray you can be strong enough that YOU recognize it. most [ l o l ] are too fly for the stress anyway. . . .

while i'm not an expert at l o v e i've been through my share of unusual & if i do say so myself rather grown-up situations. life will go on with or with out him. trust me.

well enough with that. just thought i'd give a little girl power talk ! sheesh. i'll leave you with a quote from rihanna's fire bomb.

soooo i'm finally home, which means i've finished my first semester at hampton ! words couldn't express the joy i feel. =D.

no shower shoes, hot mold showers, nasty food OR roaches for the next three weeks ! i'll let ya'll know the grades as soon as they come.

when i got home i did one of my regular transformations. . . .

after that i got up with christian & trae. we made a video that i am sure you will enjoy. we had brownies & ice cream, hence the name. . .but for some reason all the pictures aren't uploading.

but because i have the video i'll just show that. i present to you divasssss.

i was glad to get back up with my ride or die, and as you can tell. . . . .

it took quite some energy to do the video.

i'll have the pics up from that night on a later date. but i have a DOUBLE treat for the viewers tonight. a friend of mine made a video to compete with ours. it wasn't a dance video but it was just as nice. here it is. . . .

& of course all of them really love the blog, lmbo. but anywhoooo.

i just posted this to my facebook a minute ago. . .it's been a rough few weeks. during these weeks i've done a lot of thinking.

to cut shxt short, i've come this conclusion : it is vital that i STOP caring. no, not all together. thas not my nature. but about people, things, and situations that aren't going anywhere. people who clearly don't care either.

it will be rough, but hey, it's what's necessary. i just can't take the bull i allowed myself to put up with. so to save myself future disappointment, i'll cut it off together. if your right eye offends thee, pluck it out. . .right ? by no means do i do this with a smile on my face but it's what needs to be done.

so thank : him, her, them, he, she, us, we, & maybe even yourself. cuz i'm just done. i can't do this anymore. i don't know much more a beating heart can take. soooo goodbye to the robin you once knew.

its been awhile, i know. but thanks to avid followers. i'm here ! it's been a stressful couple of weeks with finals coming up [hampton's late, i know.], the end of the semester, and other unexpected events. but needless to say here we go. . .

i've been celebrating birthdays with others in the past month or soo. my little cousin tyler just turned one. he is such a cutie pie !

he was tired. . .at his OWN birthday party. lol. as a former chuck e. cheese hostess i must say he was the best one year old to throw a party for thooo !

i also helped celebrate with my bro rjaaaaaay ! he's officially not a teenager anymore, lmbo. time flies. seems like we were just in high school. since he's getting older he had a dinner at a restaurant that was TOO upscale for me & i'm not ashamed to say soooo ! it was nice tho. love you roger ! lmbo.

other than that not too much has been going on in the business of world ruling. i'm still doing the natural thing, wearing it straight for a change thooo.

i don't have a video this time. but to give you a preview on the next one, i will take you through the journey i encountered the other night. a roach about the size of this one here fell from the ceiling RIGHT NEXT TO MAXIE. [my computer, for those who don't read too often.] i will have details in a later post. . .smh. oh hampton, the things you do to me.

he gets a shoutout for giving me one of the greatest laughs i've had in a while. he came to HU to visit one day, while i was minding my business. i go to speak, being the nice person that i am, & this negro starts going in on me ! lmbo.

he told me i looked like edward scissor hands ! i admit i was having a bad hair day, but sheesh. on top of that he would not let it goooooo. . . . .

he taunted me by taking pictures. i did look a mess thooooo. but can i have an off day in peace ?! it was a good laugh thooo. i really needed that. but still, to ricky. . .BYE !

because of his taunting i immediately made that change back to being normal again. i left hella stuff at home so i decided to do the straight thing for a week or two.

today's food for thought comes from something i heard in church. i always hear people say i'm this or i'm that. but do we really know who we are ? not to say we don't but sometimes we don't find out who we are until who we are is long gone. i can confidently say that there will be a point in everyone's life where the get a point so rough, hard, & low, that they will think to themselves: how did i get to this point, this isn't me. an uncomfortable situation will prove to you what you will stand & fall for. it is then when you truly find out who you are ! just something to think about.

today's array is pretty short, but just a few of the people i can't wait to get home to, so that i may spend some time with themmmmmmm ! enjoy, or not.

anywhoo, i must say i have really enjoyed my break. i have been able to do sooo many things. like sit around & do nothing. . .

thanksgiving for me itself was pretty cool. got to spend some time with my family. shout out to "the girls". ivana be incognito, but we love her just the same !

after the family time i got to meet some extended family members, lol. baby malaysia & i ! she was a good baby !

other than that it's been the usual. it's only friday sooooo the weekend is young. i have gasoline in my veins so i HAVE to keep it moving. it shall be interesting. as promised, more video for your entertainment !

today's food for thought is something i would like to know about boys. i might have mentioned this before, but why is it the second you want to move on the the next it's like a siren goes off ? it's like boys have a built in radar that let's them know a girl is about to move on. because as soon as you make up your mind, there they are suddenly texting you. sometimes many come out the woodwork ? can anyone help me on that ?
