hey, it's that time again. i've been getting chastised on my absence/neglect of my blog. i'm sorry ! to be honest, i haven't really been feeling it lately..

a nigga been stressed out !

but not much has changed.. took my african queen twists out. new growth beastingggggg.

i believe that this was in december, and in just two months..

POW ! but lately as you can see i've been wearing it straight.

but soon, but i'm about to step out of that comfort zone and cut it soon.

i got another tattoo ! HJ III stands for my father's initials henry jones the third. my da da da da daddy.

i also sent my applications off to the university of richmond and virginia tech ! i pray i get into both.. but especially the
UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND.

other than that i've caught up with some very familiar people,

lemme tell you about these clowns, we went to outback [rolling like big shots !]

& i'm the ONLY one who ate ... smh. look at this rabbit.

but to get to the name of my post my buddy travis celebrated his bday february 7th. hooked him up with some cakes. excuse his attire tho... !!

& on the 18th tonisha celebrated one ! we went to the university of richmond to stay. you KNOW i had a ball ! but,

i experienced a night in the 804 at aurora ... it was cool, toe baby must be a popular young lady because,

her young male friend escorted us so she could get cake & champagne ... GO GIRL !!

sooooo all & all everything is everything.. some good days, some bad. but, i'm living ! i would go in but i'm tryna take a high road, but word on the street is that Hampton University FAILED inspection in their cafe ! #gross

but anywhooo today's food for thought comes from a few recent experiences. don't you hate when you try to be mature about a situation, but only get a #kiddy response in return ? now if you're anything like me, it's a big deal for me to put my pride down & handle a situation without being #kiddy.. it just kinda encourages me to revert to kiddiness when people take that as a weakness or try to down play it.. but hey, dxmn if i do & dxmn if i don't.. maybe i should just stick to my kiddyville ways !

today's array is mostly from my richmond adventure, but there are others ... enjoy. . . .or not !

WOW. it has been a while.. really just a month, but it felt like forever ! as i said in my farewell statement, i needed some "robin" time.. sometime to think & get myself together. i mean how can i pour in to other jars with a leaking jar, right ?

but, anywhoooo. i'm BACK. & while some would have liked to see the end of my world ruling reign.. i'm here to bring more. so i guess they can hang that one up ! ! !

well while i was gone, i got a lot of things accomplished. as you can see i came back with a new look to add to the blog.. i've been working pretty hard at this desk of mine.

well school is DEFINITELY back in session & it is already trying to drive me mad, but i am just happy to be getting an education.. as mid-february approaches, something more important than valentine's day is coming.. TRANSFER APPLICATION DEADLINES ! ! !

i've been working really hard to put these things together and i am soon going to send them off & put it all in GOD'S hands. keep your fingers crossed and your bible's out ! a special SHOUT OUT to derrell for helping me through this whole thing.

beyond school related things.. today i am going to take you through a few things that happened:

well first off, i'm on the whooa stage of going natural.. still holding on to it.. that new growth is getting up there.

as you saw from the first pic i have given a break to my curls & return to my african queen twists as i like to call them ! ha.

other things i did were.. being kiddy as usual & giving people things to talk about. ha. & the answer still remains the same

he did buy me some beautiful juicy couture earring tho ! gotta love em !

other things included cooking for a change,

and meeting with the craziest of people.. this is aqueelah.. she is the closest thing i have to a friend at hampton. her & travis are forever trying to get me out of my room ! her mouth is CUSSY & she is sometimes verbally abusive.. but hey, i like her ! lmbo.

i've been with my ride or die of course having the best of times as you will see in the video below.

other than that i've been living the same life.. just getting in order what matters to me most !

HOW'S LIFE AT HAMPTON ? ? ?

well i'm glad you asked.. hampton is still the same. but i came back to school with a new mindset & plan on ending this semester swiftly, successfully [transferred !], & on a positive note. but it wouldn't be me if i didn't document what i go threw. . . .

this is thee threshold to kristina aka. granny & i's humble abode.

for some reason we didn't have soap when we came back. . . .but don't worry,

someone was kind enough to bless us with thee finest soaps ! ha.

but on another note.. they do know my birthday here at hampton university..

well i wouldn't be back in full effect without food for thought. today's thought is something i've learned while i was gone. people are too dependent on others. now it's inevitable and necessary to have someone we can depend on but i've noticed, especially in the people here at hampton.. they cannot function alone. they have to have someone to watch them do EVERYTHING.

you have to learn to not be needy to people. take a walk by yourself. eat lunch in the cafe alone one day.. see what happens. you'll find a new sense of "self.
