what a @[lovely]218 surprise..

it's meeeeee. it's been a while i know.. but the end of the school year = #grindtime. and i don't blog about things unless i feel they are relevant.. and quite frankly.. nothing relevant has happened.. until NOW.

besides springtime being here, i have received the best news in a very long time.

I GOT ACCEPTED INTO THE UNIVERSITY OF RICHMOND ! ! ! ! ! ! !

STORY TIME :

on friday april 2nd, i traveled home [as i do every weekend]. i asked my father if he heard anything from richmond. he said no. i went downstairs to check the mailbox only to see nothing. i quickly dismissed it , thinking i would hear from them soon.

as i was sitting in my room doing my hair and talking to ari later.. my father unexpectedly walked through the door with one of the biggest smiles on his face and a blue folder saying : 

welcome to the university of richmond.

it was like a dream come true.. after all the HELL i went/go through at hampton , it all has paid off. soooo i am now officially a richmond spider. =) , yeeeeee ! i thank everyone who stood by me during this and last semester.

a run down of my journey through hampton is DEFINITELY in a post coming soon to a cpu near you.

today's food for thought is from something i often wonder about.. why do people put ALL their business , emotions , thoughts out on social networks ? twitter , facebook , myspace , o_0. i never understood why people put all their relationship and other business out for everyone to see. in my opinion it only leaves room for everybody to be in their business , which they often express how they can't stand. 

what makes it worse is they don't understand why people get in their business and have things to say ? ! ? sometimes it's just best to keep your thoughts , business , and every other personal thing to yourself. it'll save a lot of unwanted . . . uhh just a lot of unwanted ishhh , =).

today's small array is composed of random moments.. mostly with christiannnnn. each picture has a story to tell. =D , enjoy. . . .or not.

a good "girls day out" is always good for thee soul , ily christiannnnn.

#hardwork , it pays off ! =))))))).

so while at the strip one weekend, i got an ice cream cone and it kinda reminded me of something. . . .

i had this picture on my twitter and everyone thought it was butt cheeks or anything else under the sun.. lmbo. what do you think ? [ it is actually me sitting on the couch reaching for something on the ground] guess twitter didn't get my creative genius. ha.

spring break chronicles : part threeeee , all good things must come to an end.

soooo. i'm mad late, but who cares. like all good things, spring break has come to an end. it was very relaxing tho. about seven more weeks of grinding and summer will alas be here !

if you don't already know... NORCOM WON THE BASKETBALL STATE CHAMPIONSHIP !

no lie, it was one of the best basketball games i've ever been to. each road trip to richmond was made worth it. 

Congrats to the I. C. Norcom Greyhound Basketball Team ! 

a big shout out to my bro Steeeebeeeen for being the driver of our trips back and forth to richmond, =).

and another shout out to tajaaaaa ! we ended up crashing at her house after the championship, due to inclement weather.. had a ball tho.  her hospitality was the greatest ! 

nothing much is going on besides that. . . .

ohhhhhhh. YES, just a little tid bit. my love interest has changed drastically since, uhhhh. whenever the last time i've talked about it, =). i won't go into TOO much details, but let's just say... stay tuned. ha.

today's food for thought is this. have you ever felt like you were going crazy just to make everyone happy ? or no matter what you did, someONE always had something to say about it ? well i have and i've come to the conclusion that while pleasing people is good, you can NEVER please everyone and there will ALWAYS be that one person who feels what you do isn't good enough or that you don't add up.

with that being said, DO YOU ! at the end of the day you have no one to live with/for but yourself. you'll feel a lot better in the end and in turn people will either get with it or... who cares ! "to make everybody happy i think i would need a clone.." -drake.

today's array is from, you guessed it ! road tripping. enjoy. . . .or not.

i forgot to mention that portsmouth really invaded the 804 for these games. "you can't hide that greyhound pride !"

it's pretty great to sleep all day.. care free. yesterday was buddy's birthday ! [hope you enjoyed it ! glad i finally got to see ya ! =).]

thanks to buddy's after party filled with unfamiliar smells, i got to wash my hair today. =). lmbo. but i did get the chance to see that the back of my hair is completely naturaleeee. aye.

it's exciting to see my hair transform.

almost t h e r e !

soooooo. i figured i'd post before i hear someone tell me about it.. i've been kinda busy latetly.. i guess. lol. but there's not much to say in this post.

but, i do believe that those who follow my blog know that i'm going natural. it's almost mid-march which means its been 11 months since i've had a perm ! [which was for my debutante in april 2009]

when i took my african queen twists out i wanted to do something different.. sooooo,
i cut it !

i was pretty excited. she cut quite a lot off ! but i love my new cut.

it's growing pretty fast, if i do say so myself !

nothing much has been going on besides that. tonisha & i went to go see a good friend of mine, ben finney, play last weekend. odu x vcu : 73-70. go ODU ! lol.

it was a lot of funnnnnnn. odu games are pretty live !

today's food for thought is really a question. what would you like to see on ifr o b i n ruledtheword ? while i do this for personal enjoyment, i wouldn't be where i am without someone who liked to read it ! with that said i want to hear from YOU. what do like ? what do you dislike ? i really want to know. you can hit me on :
